About LawNote
LawNote is a legal knowledge platform built for students, practitioners, and anyone curious about the law. Founded by Moulik Chandrasekaran, an advocate practising at the Coimbatore District Court, LawNote exists to make Indian law more accessible — one article at a time.
Who I Am
I’m Moulik Chandrasekaran — a law graduate and practising advocate based in Coimbatore. Day to day, I work at the Coimbatore District Court, navigating the realities of legal practice on the ground. LawNote is my way of taking what I learn in courtrooms and law books and sharing it with the world in plain, readable language.
Why I Started LawNote
Legal knowledge in India is often locked behind dense textbooks and expensive resources. I started LawNote because I believe that understanding the law should not be a privilege — it should be accessible to every student, every citizen, and every professional who needs it. Whether you are preparing for an exam, following a case in the news, or simply trying to understand your rights, LawNote is here for you.
What You’ll Find Here
LawNote covers three core areas — academic law explained simply, landmark and recent judgments broken down clearly, and court and legal updates from across India. Every article is written with one goal: to give you knowledge you can actually use.
